It started simply: a son and his mum, a single market stall, and a pot of shakshuka eggs that Perth couldn't get enough of. In winter 2012, Elli Kaspi and his mum Riki set up the first Shak Shuka stall at Subiaco Farmers Market — and Perth fell in love with Moroccan flavours for breakfast.
Word spread fast. What started as one market stall has grown into a fixture at 10+ markets across Perth every single week, plus a busy catering calendar spanning weddings, corporate events and private celebrations.
Everything is made with local Perth produce, cooked fresh on site, and served in biodegradable packaging — because great food shouldn't cost the earth. Literally.

Hand-rolled lamb kofta with cumin, coriander and fresh herbs. Tender, juicy, and gluten free.

Roasted mushroom caps filled with a herbed Moroccan stuffing. Vegetarian and gluten free.

Pulled Lamb or Chicken Pita
Slow-roasted lamb shoulder or free-range chicken, pulled and piled into warm pita with house-made sauces.
Shak Shuka Eggs
The dish that started it all. Farm eggs poached in our slow-roast Moroccan tomato sauce. Gluten free, vegetarian.
Chicken Tajine
Free-range chicken slow-cooked tajine style with preserved lemon, olives and warming Moroccan spices.
Bacon & Egg Burger
A breakfast classic done properly — free-range egg, crispy bacon, and house sauce on a fresh-baked bun.
Baked Cauliflower
Whole roasted cauliflower with chermoula, tahini, fresh herbs and toasted seeds. Vegan, vegetarian, gluten free.
